This church is named after a Roman army commander. His figure can be found in the right side aisle. The colours of his outfit - green and red - are the city colours of Bilzen.
The current form of the church is a neo-Gothic hall church. Remarkable and striking is the rich neo-Gothic colouring of the stained glass windows and the modern painting.
