Edelhof Castle itself tells a remarkable story. Once part of the historic women's convent, it was transformed into a stately manor house in the 19th century – a charming little castle worthy of its name. Owned by the prominent De Matthys family, it is now a beautiful example of the "more recent residences with castle allure" so characteristic of this region.
Today, Edelhof Castle is the starting point for the Hoge Kempen National Park – a place where nature, heritage, and tranquility converge. This is where your journey of discovery begins.
