In Bilzen city center, you won't have to worry about parking while shopping. You have several options:
1. You can park a short walk from the shops . The first two hours (using a blue parking disc) are completely free .
2. Park in one of the underground parking garages in the city center, namely 'De Klokke' (150 spaces) or 'De Commanderie' (71 spaces). The first two hours of parking in these underground parking garages are also free . From the third hour onward, you pay €2. On Sundays and public holidays, you pay just €0.50 per hour, with a maximum of €2.50, regardless of the number of hours.
3. You can park for 30 minutes for free using the short-term parking system. These parking spaces are intended for quick errands : a quick trip to the bakery, bank, or butcher. The short-term parking system uses a meter. A parking disc is not required. You can park for short periods at these 32 locations in Bilzen city center:

- On Onze Lieve Vrouwstraat: near the Vangrootloon bakery (3)
- On the market: opposite Foto Mabo and ING (4) and behind the church (2)
- At Camille Huysmansplein (2)
- On Brugstraat: near the JeJo sandwich bar (2) and the Justice of the Peace Court (2)
- On Zeepstraat, near Pastabar Vieste (2)
4. Free long-term parking is available within walking distance of the center, for example at Vrijetijdssite De Kimpel or at the 'Schureveld' parking lot.
