Visit

It's possible to visit the Goffin family's vineyard and winery. Jeroen and Hanne will be happy to welcome you for a pleasant tasting, where they'll expertly explain the entire winemaking process. You can also taste and purchase their wine at numerous local bed and breakfasts, shops, and restaurants.

More info

Jeroen, Guy and Hanne planted grapes on Alt-Hoeselt soil for the first time in 2017, on a plot aptly named “Het Weijgaerdsveld”. Their wines are made in the winery located on Trulstraat in Alt-Hoeselt.

The story

After Jeroen got involved in fruit growing during his student days, he was ready for an extra challenge after a few years. Together with his father Guy and his wife Hanne, he planted his first plot with 600 grapevines. The plot is ideal for viticulture. The plot of land has been in the family for hundreds of years and has always been used for small-scale agriculture. In 2020, a beautiful vineyard was also planted on the plot in Trulstraat. Small scale, tradition and quality are of paramount importance at Vin de Goffin.

The wines

The Vin de Goffin winery produces white and rosé wines. They also make surprisingly delicious sparkling wines from grapes or apples.
As a tribute to the ancestors who worked the land for many years and taught us a love of agriculture, the various wines are named after them.

For example, there is the Cuvée Lambert, a delicious grape sparkling wine named after Jeroen's great-grandfather, who built the farm at the time.

Apple sparkling wine

A sparkling apple wine from Alt-Hoeselt. Made from our own apples. Delicious as an aperitif and ideal for celebrating a special occasion. Due to the limited production, you can enjoy a unique regional product.
